I am an avid reader and fell in love with Japanese fiction at an early age.  I feel that there is a unique depth and spirituality in Japanese literature.  The stories are also original and a delight to me after years of required reading by European and European American authors in school.  Japanese literature expresses the 'lost generation' effectively.  I decided to write in hubpages after I realized I have read so much Japanese fiction I need to start cataloging and writing my thoughts before I forget the great feelings after reading a good book, the moments of pondering passages days, weeks, months, and years after reading them.
